Sooner or Later…

I bought four rose plants at Walmart. 

The roses are marked down to $4.00 apiece and I have just the spot for them.  Because it is so hot and humid in the South in July it is very easy to see which roses are in dire shape and which are holding up well.  In my humble opinion, if they can look good sitting on a pallet in a neglected corner of a hot parking lot in July, well they ought to do well in a yard.  So I found four in different colors (label wise anyway) that had nice green leaves with only a few (maybe one leaf set) that were yellow or spotted.  

It isn’t easy to load 4 potted roses into a small shopping cart.  It isn’t easy to load 4 potted roses into the passenger part of a van.  I have scratches to verify that statement.

So now to make that flower bed more than a vision…because I have nothing else to do.
