Finally some snow…kinda
This is about the strangest weather radar I have ever seen.
We are in a green area but the *rain* is falling as sleet/ice with a few puffy snowflakes mixed in. Our school closed at 10:00 for high school drivers and 10:30 for bus riders. FYI my oldest two attend public hs.

This is our picnic table. At 9:30 it was entirely bare and at about 10:45:
Yes it is two-tone. It is from the 70’s or maybe early 80’s. The top was that weird green-not avocado but not quite neon either. The color is beaten bronze and looks good but the 116F heatwave stopped the update. If painted according to label directions (always follow haha) the paint was drying before it reached the chairs. If held closer it was wet but ran. So it is on the *this* spring to-do list.
Anyway the kids are hoping for more snow to build a snow mudman. I am hoping it changes too as this slop is what brings down power lines .
Two days ago it was 60s.
