On our way to the funeral we passed a sign:
Bone Nor
Motel
Care to guess what it should say?

Oh my dear…
Um, being Canadian and living in a bilingual area this is kinda making me sad & confused.
It looks like they were going for Bonne Noir, but Bonne Nuit makes more sense (and is further away from what they wrote).

From my high school French I was guessing Bonne Noir. With a southern accent you could almost get a noir out of nor. On the plus side, the outside was neat & tidy.
